Some situations call for blending in.
Your marketing and positioning aren’t one of them.
Trends get stale, technology evolves, and buyers’ needs change over time.
To remain relevant there will be times when you need to adapt to the changes.
Depending on how fast your industry evolves will determine the frequency of how often you’ll need to upgrade your skills and adjust your pitch.
Using myself as an example, I’ve gone through some major evolutions in skill while some were borderline semantics in response to market demand. (My latest iteration is the most precise descriptor yet IMO).
